The gruesome killing of a Nigerian Ibrahim Basis by South Africa police is pathetic, provocative, barbaric, inhuman, very unfortunate and condemnable in strongest term.
I call on federal government to be very proactive and decisive over this incessant killing of innocent Nigerians by taking the matter up with South Africa President Jacob Zuma so as to nip in the bud the senseless attack and killing of Nigerians
The National Assembly on their part should summon South Africa High Commissioner to Nigeria with immediate effect so as to get his country commitment of the safety of our citizens in South Africa.
South Africans must always remember the humongous sacrifice of Nigeria towards their emancipation from the shackles of apartheid as such they should not provoke us into revenge, as a tit for tat will be very counter-productive .
Finally, African Union (AU), ECOWAS and the international communities must rise up in unison to impress it on South African authority to call its citizens perpetrating this provocative racial attacks on innocent fellow Nigerians to order.
